 Chair: Prof. Dr. Nasuh USLU

He was born in 1966 in Izmir. He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of International Relations in 1988. He completed his Master's degree in International Relations at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Birmingham in England (1990) and his doctorate at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Durham University (1994). In 1995, he started working as an assistant professor at Kırıkkale University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of International Relations. He received the titles of associate professor in March 2005 and professor in May 2010. He worked as deputy Dean between 2009 and 2010 at Kırıkkale University, as Director of the Institute of Social Sciences between 2010 and 2011 and as Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences between 2011 and 2014. After working at the Police Academy between January 2015 and August 2015, he worked as the Dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences from October 2016 to January 2018 at Ankara Social Sciences University, where he began to work in August 2015. Between July 2018 and September 2022, he worked at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University as Vice Rector, Deputy Dean, and Erasmus Coordinator. His main fields of study are Turkish-American relations, Cyprus problem, Turkish foreign policy, US foreign policy, Middle Eastern and Central Asian studies. In addition to his articles published in many national and international journals, he has 3 books published in the United States and 5 books published in Turkey. Apart from the translation of many articles from English to Turkish, he translated 8 basic books in the field of International Relations into Turkish.

 

 

 

Vice president: Professor Dr. Ozan Yılmaz

Professor Dr. Ozan Yılmaz was born in Giresun on 20.04.1980. After primary and secondary education in this city, he graduated from Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Humanities, Department of Turkish Language and Literature in 2001. In 2004, he defended his master's thesis at the Institute of Social Sciences, Gaziantep University on “Turkish Commentaries on Urfi's Kasideleri” and in 2008, he defended his doctoral thesis at the Institute of Turkish Studies, Marmara University on “Sudi ı Bosnevi and Sherh ı Gulistan”. From 2003-2004/2008-2010 he worked as a researcher at Gaziantep University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Turkish Language and Literature, and from 2004-2008 at the Institute of Turkic Studies, Marmara University. Since 2010, she has been working as a lecturer (Acting Associate Professor, PhD 2010-2012/ Associate Professor, PhD 2012/ Professor, PhD 2019) at Sakarya University, Faculty of Humanities, Department of Turkish Language and Literature. In addition to books such as “Gülistân Şerhi” (2012), “Necâtî Bey Divanı” (2015), “Hüsn ü Aşk” (2018), “Ferheng-i Şuûrî” (4 volumes, 2019), “Şeyhî Hüsrev ü Şîrîn” (2020), “Şiirin Beylerbeyi Necati Bey” (2023), there are scientific articles, book chapters and papers presented in international symposia. In 2019, he was awarded the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) Outstanding Young Scientist Award (GEBİP). He is a reviewer and referee in institutions such as TDK, TÜBA, TÜBİTAK, AKMB and various scientific journals.

 

Vice president: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Azamat Maksüdünov

Dr. Maksüdünov completed his master's degree in 2007 and his PhD in 2010 at the Institute of Social Sciences at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU). In 2013, he began his tenure as an assistant professor in the Department of Business Administration within the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, and he was promoted to associate professor in July 2024. As of November 2024, Dr. Maksüdünov serves as the Deputy Director of the Institute of Graduate Studies. His research interests include service marketing, e-marketing, and entrepreneurship, and he actively participates in scientific events related to the Turkic World. Dr. Maksüdünov has authored or co-authored 44 articles, 40 conference papers, 10 book chapters, and 4 books. He has visited various international institutions through academic exchange programs, including ITEC (Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India from January to March 2017), DAAD (Potsdam University of Applied Sciences from May to June 2021), and the Orhun Exchange Program (Ege University in October 2022). Dr. Maksüdünov was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Florida Atlantic University in the USA from July 2023 to May 2024, where he conducted a research project titled ‘Creating an Entrepreneurial University in Kyrgyzstan: A Roadmap for Transformation’. He received the Best Paper Award at the 26th World Business Congress organized by the International Management Development Association (IMDA) in May 2016, as well as a Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan in December 2021.

 

 

 Member: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yavuz Ercan GÜL

Born in Corum in 1983. He completed his undergraduate education in History Teaching at Arabaev State Education University in Kyrgyzstan in 2008. He completed his MA in Educational Sciences at Kyrgyzstan Turkey Manas University in 2012. He completed his PhD in the same department in 2018. He has been working at Kyrgyzstan Turkey Manas University since 2021. He received the title of associate professor in the field of Social and Historical Foundations of Education in 2022. He conducts studies in the fields of History of Education, Sociology of Education and Ethnopedagogy. He has authored more than 60 articles, presented numerous conferences, and served as a project manager and researcher. He has 3 books published in Turkey. He is also a member of the Central Eurasian Studies Society (CESS). He speaks Russian, English and Kyrgyz.

 

 

 

 

Member: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seyil NAJİMUDİNOVA

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seyil NAJİMUDİNOVA  is a faculty member at the Management Department, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. She received a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. She completed her master studies in the Management Department in 2005. In 2010, she successfully defended her PhD dissertation, titled 'The Importance and Role of Corporate Culture in Human Resource Management: A Case Study of Kyrgyz Enterprises' at the same institution. Since 2004, she has held a tenured position in the Business Department at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.  She received the title of associate professor in July 2024. She served as the vice -chair of the Center for Central Asian Studies between 2014-2015 and as the vice-dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences between 2017-2024. She has been a member of the KTMU Senate since December 2023, a KTMU Rector Advisor since October 2024, and a coordinator of the Career Development Office since November. She has been a field editor and assosiate editor of the Manas Social Research Journal since 2016. She is a member of the Young Scientists Association of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. Her research interests and publications focus on Human Resources Management, strategic management, entrepreneurship, female entrepreneurship, and higher education. She speaks Kyrgyz, Turkish, English, and Russian.
