Born in Corum in 1983. He completed his undergraduate education in History Teaching at Arabaev State Education University in Kyrgyzstan in 2008. He completed his MA in Educational Sciences at Kyrgyzstan Turkey Manas University in 2012. He completed his PhD in the same department in 2018. He has been working at Kyrgyzstan Turkey Manas University since 2021. He received the title of associate professor in the field of Social and Historical Foundations of Education in 2022. He conducts studies in the fields of History of Education, Sociology of Education and Ethnopedagogy. He has authored more than 60 articles, presented numerous conferences, and served as a project manager and researcher. He has 3 books published in Turkey. He is also a member of the Central Eurasian Studies Society (CESS). He speaks Russian, English and Kyrgyz.

 

 

Member: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seyil NAJİMUDİNOVA

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seyil NAJİMUDİNOVA is a faculty member at the Management Department, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. She received a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. She completed her master studies in the Management Department in 2005. In 2010, she successfully defended her PhD dissertation, titled 'The Importance and Role of Corporate Culture in Human Resource Management: A Case Study of Kyrgyz Enterprises' at the same institution. Since 2004, she has held a tenured position in the Business Department at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.  

She received the title of associate professor in July 2024. She served as the vice -chair of the Center for Central Asian Studies between 2014-2015 and as the vice-dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences between 2017-2024. She has been a member of the KTMU Senate since December 2023, a KTMU Rector Advisor since October 2024, and a coordinator of the Career Development Office since November. She has been a field editor and assosiate editor of the Manas Social Research Journal since 2016. She is a member of the Young Scientists Association of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. Her research interests and publications focus on Human Resources Management, strategic management, entrepreneurship, female entrepreneurship, and higher education. She speaks Kyrgyz, Turkish, English, and Russian.

 

 

 

Member:Assistant Prof. Baktybek İsakov

Isakov was born in 1979. He earned his Bachelor's (2002), Master's (2005), and PhD (2011) degrees from Kyrgyz-Turkish "Manas" University, following the Western academic system. Between 2007 and 2011, he participated in a five-year international project on the "Oral History of Central Asian Peoples," funded by the University of Tokyo (Japan), Tsukuba University (Japan), and Kyrgyz-Turkish "Manas" University (Kyrgyzstan). In 2009, he studied for one semester at the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard University (USA). From 2011 to 2012, he taught for a year at Busan University of Foreign Studies (South Korea). Between 2014 and 2015, he conducted a 10-month postdoctoral research project at the University of Padua (Italy) on the topic: "Epistemology of Nature: Pre-Soviet Nomadic Societies of Central Asia," delivering lectures at leading universities and research institutes in Italy and Germany. He is the author of 16 scientific and popular books written in English, Turkish, and Kyrgyz. He has published over 40 scientific articles in English and Turkish and has presented 36 academic papers at international conferences worldwide.

 

 

 

 

Member: Senior Lecturer Serdar Azhar

Senior Lecturer Serdar Azhar works as an instructor in the Language Preparation Department of the School of Foreign Languages at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. He received his bachelor’s degree in 2015 from the Department of Contemporary Turkic Dialects and Literatures at Atatürk University, and his master’s degree in 2019 from the Institute of Turkic Studies of the same university, specializing in Contemporary Turkic Dialects and Literatures.

Since 2019, he has been pursuing his doctoral studies at the Institute of Social Sciences of Ankara University. He is currently working on his dissertation titled “Jadidism among the Turkmens of Transcaspia based on the first Turkmen newspaper Zakaspiyskaya Tuzemnaya Gazeta / Ruznâme-yi Mavera-i Bahr-i Hazar (1914–1917).”

Since 2021, he has worked as an editor, translator, proofreader, and held various administrative positions within Avrasya Yazarlar Birliği and Bengü Yayınları. Since 2023, he has been continuing his academic career at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.

In addition to his academic works, many of his original and translated articles have been published in various literary journals. Currently, four of his books have been published in Turkey, three of which are translations (a novel, a research work, and an analytical study).

His research interests focus on contemporary Turkic dialects and literatures, the literature of the Turkic world, and Turkic Jadidism. He has a working knowledge of English as a foreign language.
