Uzbekistan has signed agreements to attract more than US$6 billion in private investment in the artificial intelligence (AI) sector by 2030. The projects envisage the development of computing infrastructure with a total capacity of 800 MW. A total of 6,565,410 foreign visitors traveled to Uzbekistan for tourism purposes during January–June 2026, according to the National Statistics Committee. Compared to the same period last year, the number of foreign tourists increased by 1.3 million, representing a 24.9% year-on-year growth.
