On November 24, 2025, Dr. Najiba Mustafayeva, a faculty member at Bahçeşehir University, delivered a seminar titled “Strengthening Multilateralism Through Turkic Cooperation: The Evolving Role of the OTS” to the students of our university.

Explaining with examples that multilateralism is currently facing significant challenges in the international arena, Mustafayeva emphasized that international organizations—especially the United Nations—are in need of reform. Highlighting the recent initiatives undertaken by the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), she concluded that under current circumstances, the roles Türkic states can play within the United Nations and other international structures may contribute substantially to strengthening multilateralism.
