A two-day international forum titled “International Financial and Banking Summit 2026: Global Financial Integration of the Turkic States” has commenced in Baku. According to Vesti.az, citing APA-Economics, the event is being held with the support of the Council of Banking Associations of Turkic States (CBATS), the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the banking associations of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Türkiye, the Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan, and other partner organizations.

The main objectives of the summit are to analyze global trends in the financial and banking sectors, promote regional financial integration, strengthen international cooperation, enhance innovation and sustainability, and establish new strategic partnerships.

The program includes high-level policy discussions, panel sessions, and B2B meetings. Participants include executives of banks and financial institutions, representatives of technology companies, regulatory authorities, professional associations, FinTech companies and startups, international organizations, investors, experts, and representatives of development institutions.

According to the organizers, the forum aims to bring together regional financial leaders, international experts, and companies offering innovative solutions to develop a shared vision for a more integrated, sustainable, and globally interconnected financial ecosystem.
