In 2024, Azerbaijan's direct foreign investments (DFI) in Uzbekistan's economy amounted to 93.108 million US dollars. According to Report, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the volume of DFI grew fourfold over the year, or by 69.868 million dollars.

Azerbaijani investments in Uzbekistan account for 5.3% of the total volume of DFI. It is worth noting that in 2024, Azerbaijan's direct foreign investments in the economies of other countries totaled 1.762 billion US dollars. In 2023, the volume of DFI from Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan amounted to 23.239 million dollars, while the total volume of Azerbaijani investments in foreign countries was 3.117 billion US dollars.
