In the presence of the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, several agreements were signed between the two countries.
Following the bilateral and inter-delegation meetings held at the Presidential Complex, as well as the Fourth Meeting of the Türkiye–Uzbekistan High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, a signing ceremony for various agreements between the two countries took place.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the
“Joint Declaration of the 4th Meeting of the Türkiye–Uzbekistan High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council” and the “Decision on the Cooperation Mechanisms of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Relations between the Republic of Türkiye and the Republic of Uzbekistan.”
Other agreements signed in the presence of Erdoğan and Mirziyoyev are as follows:
- Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Cooperation in the Field of Health
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the Development of International Transport Corridors and Existing Practices
- Cultural Cooperation Plan for 2026–2027 between the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the Development of Cooperation in the Field of Mining
- Letter of Intent between the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Türkiye and the Agency for the Development of Light Industry under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Cooperation in the Field of Free Zones / Special Economic Zones
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Treasury and Finance of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Economic and Financial Cooperation
- Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Cooperation in the Field of Education
The signed documents are intended to give additional impetus to the development of Uzbek–Turkish relations and to ensure the practical implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level.
