The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), Ambassador Kubanichbek Omuraliev, held a meeting with the Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye, Cevdet Yılmaz, in Ankara on March 10.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the ongoing activities and priorities of the Organization of Turkic States. They also exchanged views on upcoming events, including the Meeting of the Heads of Government / Vice Presidents of the member states, and explored opportunities to further strengthen cooperation among the Turkic states. Secretary General Omuraliev provided information on the Organization’s latest initiatives aimed at enhancing regional cooperation in areas such as trade, connectivity, economic development, and cultural interaction.

Vice President Yılmaz emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts among member states to advance the common vision and strategic goals of the Turkic world. The parties also highlighted the importance of continuing cooperation to ensure the implementation of decisions adopted within the OTS and to further strengthen the institutional capacity of the Organization.
