The Minister of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, emphasized the strategic and cultural significance of the Middle Corridor during her address at the international event “Middle Corridor 360°” held in Baku.

“The Middle Corridor is not only a transport route linking land and sea; it is also a vital cultural pathway that fosters closer ties among nations,” the Minister stated.

She highlighted the fundamental role of the family in Turkic societies throughout history, stressing that: “The Middle Corridor serves as a platform that strengthens familial and cultural bonds among Turkic states in an expanded and meaningful manner.” Touching upon the topic of digital transformation, Minister Göktaş noted Türkiye’s firm commitment to innovation and technology in all areas of public life.

“We must ensure that future generations are well-equipped for the digital era. Türkiye is progressing rapidly in both green and digital transformation. In this regard, we are launching a digitalization initiative focused on climate action, to be presented at the upcoming COP30 Conference in Brazil.”

Concluding her remarks, the Minister underscored the importance of shared purpose and cooperation: “Our collective determination is a driving force for sustainable development. Each step we take will contribute to peace, stability, and the well-being of our societies.”
