President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Kamil Süleyman Yazıcı, Chairman of the Turkish holding Anadolu Group, according to the Akorda Presidential Press Service. During the meeting, the two sides discussed further expanding investment cooperation and implementing joint projects across various sectors of the economy.

President Tokayev noted that Efes Kazakhstan and Coca-Cola Almaty Bottlers, both members of the Anadolu Group, have been operating successfully in Kazakhstan for many years, creating thousands of jobs, attracting investment, and making a significant contribution to the country's tax revenues.

For his part, Kamil Süleyman Yazıcı briefed the President on the group's performance in Kazakhstan and its plans to implement new investment projects. According to Yazıcı, Anadolu Group has invested approximately US$1 billion in Kazakhstan over the past 30 years and has created more than 10,000 jobs. The company currently operates five beverage production plants in the country. Construction of a sixth plant, worth US$100 million, has also begun in the Aktobe Region.

President Tokayev emphasized that Kazakhstan is consistently pursuing a policy aimed at diversifying the economy, modernizing industry, and developing high value-added manufacturing. In this regard, the Head of State expressed Kazakhstan's interest in further expanding Anadolu Group's operations in the country, particularly through export-oriented projects in the agro-industrial sector, the introduction of innovative technologies, and the development of other industries that contribute to sustainable economic growth.

It is worth noting that Kazakhstan and Türkiye are currently implementing 50 joint projects with a total value of approximately US$4 billion. Following the sixth meeting of the Kazakhstan–Türkiye High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan signed the Declaration on Eternal Friendship and Enhanced Strategic Partnership. In addition, the two sides signed 14 bilateral agreements, including one on establishing a joint venture for the production and maintenance of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
