Kazakhstan's Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development Beibut Atamkulov told a news conference that Kazakhstan will increase the number of flights to Turkey by the summer season. Related news, was featured on the official website of Kapital.kz on September 2nd.
In a statement, Beibut Atamkulov: "Today we discussed airlines and flight routes with Turkey. Currently, there are 12 traditional flight routes between Turkey and Kazakhstan. These are: Nur-Sultan - Istanbul, Almaty - Istanbul, Turkistan - Istanbul, Shymkent - Istanbul and Almaty - Antalya” said.
According to the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development, the issue of increasing the number of flights will be fully resolved within a week.
Additionally, Beibut Atamkulov: "Summer is coming and most of the Kazakhs are going on vacation to Turkey. Therefore, we are working with an inter-institutional commission to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in Kazakhstan. I think we will increase the number of flights with Turkey soon. Antalya will be the place they will prefer,” said.
