Minister of Transport of Kazakhstan Marat Karabayev held a meeting with the head of the South Korean logistics company LX Pantos Lee Yong-ho. During the negotiations, issues of expanding container transportation through Kazakhstan in the direction of Europe and back, as well as the participation of LX Pantos in existing and new transit routes were discussed.

Particular attention was paid to increasing the volume of return container loading along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) from Europe to Kazakhstan. The Kazakh side also presented plans for the development of transport corridors and terminal infrastructure, which opens up additional opportunities for partnership.

As a result of the negotiations, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between PTC Holding and LX Pantos, which confirms the mutual interest of the parties in strengthening transport and logistics ties.

The Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) runs through China, Kazakhstan, the waters of the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and further into the countries of Europe.
