Kazakhstan's Ministry of Energy is continuing discussions on the possibility of oil exports to Hungary via the "Dostyk" pipeline. This was reported by the "inbusiness.kz" news service.

Currently, the issue is at an initial stage, and the actual volume of oil exports depends on several factors, including economic viability, transportation routes, and the existence of agreements between the economic entities of the countries involved.

According to representatives of the Ministry of Energy, Kazakhstan is currently studying the market demand for oil exports to Hungary. This is because it is necessary to assess in test mode the possible volume of oil that can be exported to this country.

Kazakhstan’s Minister of Energy, Almasadam Satkaliev, stated that if there is demand from local oil producers, the Kazakh government will ensure the technical capacity for transit.
Additionally, Kazakhstan will conduct a test inspection of the system in collaboration with Hungarian and Russian colleagues. During the test, the technical aspects of oil delivery and issues related to efficient transportation will be fully addressed.
