Chairman of the Investment Committee under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Gabidulla Ospankulov, and Chairman of the Board of the Turkish company “S Sistem Lojistik,” Huseyin Barlin, discussed the implementation of investment projects in Kazakhstan.

Among these projects is the construction of a network of modern logistics and warehouse terminals with a total estimated value of approximately 100 million USD. Priority locations for the facilities include Almaty, Astana, Shymkent, Aktau, and other major cities. This was reported by the Investment Committee’s press service.

During the meeting, the possibility of signing an investment agreement was discussed. These agreements include state support measures, tax incentives, and infrastructure provisions.

Gabidulla Ospankulov stated: “Kazakhstan is currently in an active phase of developing its logistics infrastructure. The project proposed by ‘S Sistem Lojistik’ is highly important for making both domestic and transit transportation more efficient. We view logistics as one of the priority sectors for attracting investment aimed at diversifying our economy and strengthening Kazakhstan’s role as a transport hub in Eurasia.”

Huseyin Barlin emphasized that the company aims to implement projects in line with international standards and to establish modern infrastructure.

Earlier, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced plans to reconstruct 11,000 kilometers of existing railway lines and build an additional 5,000 kilometers of new railways in Kazakhstan by 2029. The implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects will help increase the volume of transit cargo.
