According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Iskefe Holding intends to begin the construction of the high-tech plant, which will have an annual production capacity of 7,000 tons, in 2026. The project is valued at 22.5 billion tenge.

According to the Minister, this project holds strategic importance for the development of the processing sector and will contribute to deeper involvement of leather raw materials in processing. The Ministry stated that it is ready to provide comprehensive assistance in the implementation of the project.

Aidarbek Saparov added that to support the development of leather and wool processing, the government offers a wide range of support measures. These include investment subsidies, subsidies for shearing points, mobile complexes and equipment, payments to farmers for delivering wool for processing, tax incentives, and other measures.
