The Trade Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic in Turkey, Chyngyz Esengul uulu, held a series of negotiations with the leadership of the Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry and major exporters of dry food products to expand the supply of beans from Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the meetings, the parties discussed mechanisms for establishing direct connections between producers and importers. Such measures would help reduce the influence of intermediaries on product prices and enable better control over the quality of the supplied raw materials.

As part of the working visit, special attention was given to the quality indicators of exported products, particularly the size of the beans and their compliance with international standards. The Turkish side noted that the volume of purchases directly depends on the dynamics of global prices and the consistency of quality indicators. To systematically improve the seed fund, Kyrgyz agricultural producers were advised to establish cooperation with the Turkish Seed Producers Association. This would help increase the competitiveness of Kyrgyz beans in the international market.

During the visit, Chyngyz Esengul uulu also familiarized himself with the production capacities of the companies “Saysan Dış Ticaret Ltd. Şti.”, “Dervişoğlu Bakliyat A.Ş.” and “Tat Bakliyat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.”. Together with the management of these enterprises, issues related to attracting Turkish investments into Kyrgyzstan’s processing sector were discussed, as well as ways to increase production potential. Investment cooperation included discussions on modernizing the technical base and preparing products for export in accordance with Turkish requirements. To implement the agreements reached in practice, it was proposed to organize meetings in a specialized B2B format. This format would allow Kyrgyz agricultural producers to present their capabilities directly to major buyers in Mersin.
