Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev met with Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye Cevdet Yılmaz in Baku, within the framework of his participation in the second meeting of the heads of government and vice presidents of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). This was reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan.
During the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the steady development of friendly relations, mutual trust, and strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye in recent years. They also discussed opportunities to deepen cooperation in areas such as economy, investment, education, healthcare, and trade.
Adylbek Kasymaliev noted that this year would be an important stage for bilateral cooperation and emphasized that special attention would be paid to the implementation of the intergovernmental action plan. Adylbek Kasymaliev stated: “The leaders of our countries have set a goal to increase bilateral trade turnover to 5 billion US dollars. In this direction, we are ready to support Turkish investments and further deepen our cooperation.” Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, in turn, highlighted the high level of strategic partnership between Türkiye and Kyrgyzstan and the dynamic development of cooperation in all areas. At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and develop brotherly relations.
