At the 13th meeting of the TURKPA Commission on Economic Cooperation held in Baku, a draft model law on joint ventures was approved. This was reported by the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic. According to the information provided, the document will be submitted to the organization’s upcoming plenary session.
Deputy Bekmurza Ergeshov represented Kyrgyzstan at the meeting held in the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan. In his speech, he emphasized that the development of agriculture and the expansion of trade and economic relations are priority areas for Kyrgyzstan.
The deputy also presented a number of proposals aimed at implementing joint investment projects to strengthen economic cooperation between countries. Participants of the meeting discussed ways to jointly respond to modern challenges and mechanisms for deepening integration among Turkic states. According to Bekmurza Ergeshov, the adopted decisions will help elevate economic cooperation to a new qualitative level. The proposed document will provide a legal framework for the establishment and regulation of interstate joint ventures.
