Kyrgyzstan’s Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliyev, met with a delegation from Türkiye’s major energy company RHOFA Energy to discuss investment opportunities. During the meeting held in the capital Bishkek, the parties discussed plans for solar power plant projects in Kyrgyzstan as well as bilateral strategic cooperation in the energy sector.
Türkiye’s Energy Experience Comes to Kyrgyzstan
During the talks, it was emphasized that Türkiye has achieved world-class success in solar and wind energy production in recent years. Adylbek Kasymaliyev stated that Kyrgyzstan aims to integrate this experience into its own territory, highlighting the following priorities:
- Modern Technology Transfer: bringing Türkiye’s advanced renewable energy technologies to Kyrgyzstan.
- Attracting Investments: encouraging direct Turkish investments to develop the sector.
- Practical Cooperation: moving beyond theoretical discussions toward concrete actions, including the construction of solar power plants.
RHOFA Energy Signals Investment Commitment
Hazreti Akdemir, Chairman of the Board of RHOFA Energy, stated that the company aims to deepen cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in trade, investment, and especially energy.
Akdemir emphasized that Turkish companies are ready to contribute to the region’s energy security and sustainable development.
Technical Talks Next on the Agenda
Following the official reception, the RHOFA Energy delegation is expected to hold a series of meetings with officials from relevant Kyrgyz state institutions to discuss technical details.
The discussions will focus on:
- determining power plant locations,
- capacity planning,
- legal procedures and incentive mechanisms.
This cooperation once again highlights Kyrgyzstan’s determination to reduce its dependence on external energy sources and become one of Central Asia’s leading “green energy” hubs.
