The II Kyrgyzstan-Hungary Food Industry Forum was held in Bishkek with the participation of government officials, business representatives, and leading Hungarian companies. According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Agriculture, the main focus of the forum was the introduction of modern processing technologies and the development of agro-industrial infrastructure.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan Rustam Baltabayev stated that the ministry places special emphasis on modernizing production facilities and increasing the country’s export potential.

Baltabayev noted that cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary has already begun to produce tangible results, particularly in the field of irrigation, where several Hungarian technologies are being introduced in Kyrgyzstan.

During the forum, participants were presented with the opportunities offered by the “Hungary-Kyrgyzstan” Development Fund. The event also included bilateral B2B meetings with representatives of Hungarian companies Maurer Gép, Unimatik and InnovaSter-Trade.
