Ravshanbek Sabirov, Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, met with representatives of the Turkish company TANFER and Mehmet Tanfer, Vice President of the Turkish Boxing Federation and Chairman of the Board of Directors of TANFER.

According to the National Investment Agency, the meeting focused on expanding investment cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye, improving the country's investment climate, and implementing joint projects in priority sectors.

Ravshanbek Sabirov emphasized that creating favorable conditions for investors is one of the government's key priorities. He noted that the National Investment Agency is prepared to provide comprehensive support for investment projects and offer investors all necessary assistance.

He also stated that Kyrgyzstan is consistently working to improve its investment climate, create a more business-friendly environment, and attract greater volumes of foreign direct investment. "We attach particular importance to supporting projects that make a real contribution to the country's economy, introduce modern technologies, and create new jobs. We are interested in further expanding investment cooperation with Türkiye," Sabirov said.

The Turkish side presented an investment proposal aimed at implementing Kyrgyzstan's National Biosafety Program. According to the proposal, the project's total value amounts to US$116.3 million and will be financed through foreign direct investment. The project is expected to create up to 1,600 new jobs. The investor will also assume full responsibility for constructing the necessary infrastructure, supplying equipment, and covering all operational expenses.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of jointly reviewing the project's technical and organizational aspects with the participation of the relevant government authorities. They also agreed to further deepen investment cooperation and jointly implement projects of mutual interest.
