Kyrgyzstan and Tatarstan discussed trade and economic cooperation, the development of direct ties between entrepreneurs, and the joint promotion of investment initiatives. These issues were discussed by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev and Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov during a meeting held on September 6 at State Residence No. 2 in Issyk-Kul.
The sides emphasized the importance of continuing mutual business visits and strengthening ties between representatives of the business community. Minnikhanov's visit to Kyrgyzstan is taking place within the framework of the VI World Nomad Games. Kasymaliev expressed readiness to provide Tatarstan with comprehensive support and share Kyrgyzstan's experience in preparing for and organizing the Nomad Games. The meeting also addressed joint initiatives aimed at preserving biodiversity, and the sides agreed to continue active cooperation in environmental protection. The sides also discussed expanding cooperation in education, culture, science, youth policy, and sports. In their assessment, cooperation in these areas will contribute to strengthening friendly relations and mutual trust between the two peoples.
