An industrial complex for processing gasoline and diesel fractions is planned to be built in Kyrgyzstan’s Talas region. The estimated investment is valued at $350 million, according to the press service of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan.

Kyrgyz Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov and Yerzhan Beisebayev, Director of Kazakhstan’s “QAZAQ BITUM Processing” company, signed a memorandum on the development and implementation of the project. The document provides for cooperation in preparing and implementing a project to develop a complex for processing gasoline and diesel fractions, as well as producing polymer-modified PG bitumen.

The project is aimed at increasing domestic production, reducing dependence on imports of gasoline and diesel, and introducing new technologies to the region. It is worth noting that “QAZAQ BITUM Processing” operates in Kazakhstan and produces road bitumen and polymer-modified bitumen. The company is registered as an oil processing and petroleum products manufacturing company.
