On August 27, Kyrgyzstan's trade representative in Turkiye, Chyngyz Toktobekov, met with owner of the construction company Ozdogan Group, one of the leading companies in the country, Ali Ozdogan and his team.

The Ministry of Economy said that the main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the possibility of Ozdogan Group investing in Kyrgyzstan in the construction, energy and tourism sectors.

Toktobekov gave a presentation on the potential of Kyrgyzstan, prepared for investors. The meeting also discussed the dynamically developing sectors of construction, energy and tourism in Kyrgyzstan, and discussed in detail the possible contribution of Ozdogan Group to the country's economy. It is possible that by contributing to the strengthening of economic relations between the two countries and increasing cooperation opportunities in strategic sectors, Ozdogan Group, with its powerful infrastructure and experience, will be able to implement important projects in Kyrgyzstan.

Following the meeting, the owner of the company, Ali Ozdogan, expressed interest in investing in the republic and planned a visit to Kyrgyzstan in September-October this year to get a closer look at the investment climate and deepen the negotiations.

Ozdogan Group is considered the largest Turkish company in the industry, having completed more than 500 million cubic meters of earthworks. It currently employs 3,500 people, and its annual income averages $500 million.
