Turkey will work on integration of Kyrgyz citizens in the local labor market. This agreement was reached during the working visit of the delegation of the Center for Employment of Citizens Abroad under the Ministry of Labor to Antalya, held from November 1 to 6 with the assistance of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Antalya.
During the visit, the Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Antalya Rustam Koshonov and Director of the Center for Employment of Citizens Abroad Baktybek Kudaiberdiev met with Deputy Governor Mustafa Hulusi Arat, who supervises migration issues. At the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the stay of Kyrgyz labor migrants, their rights and working conditions.
In addition, the Kyrgyz delegation held a meeting with representatives of licensed private employment agencies in Turkey to discuss the observance of migrants' rights, legalization of their status, and improvement of working and living conditions.
The participants of the meeting developed recommendations to strengthen cooperation in the area of employment, which will contribute to more effective integration of Kyrgyz citizens in the Turkish labor market.
Consular officials and members of the Kyrgyz delegation also visited the workplaces of Kyrgyz migrants, assessing their working and living conditions on sites.
