Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov and Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban held talks in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. The interlocutors discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation, focusing on promoting tourism and economic relations, the press office of the Government Kyrgyzstan.
The significant outcome of the meeting was the signing of the Joint Declaration on Expanded Strategic Partnerships between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary.
The document was signed after a meeting between the Prime Minister of Hungary and President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, during which the parties agreed upon a package of bilateral agreements.
The talks focused on the prospects for implementing joint investment, energy and infrastructure projects. The parties recognised the significant potential for promoting tourism exchange and agreed to expand cooperation in this area.
