Turkiye’s Ankara hosted on Dec. 2 a business meeting between Trade Representative of Kyrgyzstan Chyngyz Toktobekov and founder of the Ünal Kuruyemiş Omer Faruk Erbil in order to expand the export of dried fruits from Kyrgyzstan to the Turkish market.
As a result of the discussion, an agreement was reached to provide the Trade Representation of Kyrgyzstan with business proposals from domestic producers of dried fruits for consideration by the Turkish company, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan reported.
In case Kyrgyz exporters are interested, Ünal Kuruyemiş expressed readiness to conclude a contract for such products as nuts, beans, lentils, dried apricots, prunes and other types of dried fruits.
Ünal Kuruyemiş was founded in Ankara in 1956. It is engaged in the production and sale of food products including dried fruits and nuts. Today, the company has about 60 branches in Turkey and several in European countries, providing jobs for 300 employees.
