Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan are discussing travel facilitation for citizens of the two countries.
This issue was discussed on February 3 at the videoconference between the director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Seytek Zhumakadyr uulu and the director of the Consular and Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bobur Azizov. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the meeting the parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the consular sphere. Particular attention was paid to the creation of favorable conditions for travel of citizens of the two states, as well as further plans for cooperation. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue close cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
