Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration Adylbek Kasymaliev met with Ambassador of Hungary to Kyrgyzstan Sandor Dorogi.

The Cabinet of Ministers said that during the meeting the sides noted with satisfaction the dynamic development of bilateral cooperation, expressed in regular political dialogue and intensification of economic ties. The importance of maintaining this positive dynamics was emphasized.

Particular attention was paid to the official visit of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to Kyrgyzstan in November 2024. It was noted that this visit was an important step in deepening the strategic partnership between the two countries, creating a solid foundation for further cooperation in various fields.

The parties noted a significant increase in trade between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary, but emphasized the need to intensify the export of Kyrgyz products to the Hungarian market.

Adylbek Kasymaliev noted that "Kyrgyzstan views Hungary as a window to Europe, and Hungary can view Kyrgyzstan as a gateway to China," emphasizing the strategic importance of bilateral cooperation.

The meeting also discussed preparations for the next meeting of the Kyrgyz-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, scheduled for 2025 in Budapest, in particular, priority areas of cooperation that require special attention at the upcoming meeting were considered. In addition, issues of labor migration of Kyrgyz citizens to Hungary were touched upon, in particular, issues related to the creation of favorable conditions for employment and social adaptation of Kyrgyz citizens in Hungary. At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual readiness for the further development and strengthening of multifaceted bilateral relations, expressing confidence in the successful implementation of the planned plans and projects.
