The first trilateral summit of the Presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will be held in Khujand, Tajikistan, on March 31, Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov said during his participation in the high-level segment of the 58th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
The summit will be an important step in strengthening regional cooperation, he said. The final protocol on the delimitation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik border was signed on February 21. The agreements on the state border, energy facilities, water resources, the use of cross roads and the construction of new roads were prepared for signing by the leaders of the two countries.
