As part of a working trip to Hungary, First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Amangeldiev met with the Minister of National Economy of Hungary Márton Nagy. This news was reported in the government.
During the meeting, the parties discussed key areas of bilateral cooperation, including trade, investment, logistics and labor migration. Amangeldiev noted the dynamic development of relations between the countries, based on strategic partnership and support of the heads of state.
The meeting paid special attention to the activities of the Kyrgyz-Hungarian Development Fund, which in the near future will increase its authorized capital by $34 million. In this context, the Hungarian side expressed readiness to consider projects prepared by Kyrgyzstan, especially in the agro-industry and energy sectors.
The topic of development of trade relations between the countries was discussed, including the activities of the Trade Company of the Kyrgyz Republic OJSC. Daniyar Amangeldiev emphasized the need to increase the volume of bilateral trade turnover and further expansion of economic cooperation.
Labor migration issues were discussed separately. An agreement was reached to continue work on an agreement regulating the employment of Kyrgyz citizens in Hungary.
Márton Nagy called Kyrgyzstan a friendly country and confirmed his readiness to support initiatives aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and realization of the bilateral commitments in the region.
