In 2024, the Central Asian countries — Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan — welcomed 28.6 million foreign tourists. This is 11% more than in 2023, according to Upl.uz.

It is noted that these figures indicate a steady increase in international travelers' interest in the region. Central Asia continues to strengthen its position as an attractive tourist destination.

Kazakhstan made the largest contribution to the overall tourist flow, with 15.3 million foreigners visiting the country in 2024. Moreover, 10.4 million of them stayed for more than a day, indicating a strong interest in long-term trips.

Kyrgyzstan ranked second in terms of tourist numbers, attracting 8.6 million visitors. Uzbekistan, despite having more modest total numbers, recorded the highest growth rate of 20%. In 2024, the country welcomed around 8 million foreign guests.
