Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Bakyt Torobaev, met with Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Serik Zhumangarin, during his working visit to Astana. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation. They agreed to establish a "green corridor" for the export of Kyrgyzstan's agricultural products to Kazakhstan. In addition, they reached an agreement on joint efforts to ensure oil supply and to simplify migration regulations.

To implement the "green corridor" project, Kyrgyz “Agroholding” company, the Trade Committee of Kazakhstan, and the “KazTrade” company will jointly work to determine the list and volume of agricultural products.

The parties also discussed potential discounts on tariffs for the services of Kazakhstan’s main railways during the export and transit of socially significant goods.

Bakyt Torobaev and Serik Zhumangarin expressed their readiness to work together on the implementation of previously reached agreements and strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
