On September 18, President Sadyr Japarov received the prime ministers of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and the organization’s vice-president. The meeting was held within the framework of the session of OTS prime ministers and the vice-president in Bishkek, the presidential administration’s press service reported.
According to Sadyr Japarov, since its establishment, the Organization of Turkic States has made significant progress and has been developing successfully.
Sadyr Japarov stated: “If we want to ensure the further development of our organization, we need to take concrete steps that will bring real results. Practical measures, strengthened by political will and support, will contribute to further enhancing the prestige of our organization in the international arena.”
In his remarks, Sadyr Japarov emphasized the active development of trade and economic relations among Turkic states, particularly underlining the importance of the Turkic Investment Fund as a key tool for economic integration. He also stressed the need to activate its activities at the level of prime ministers.
The heads of delegations expressed gratitude for the hospitality shown and highly appreciated the initiative of the Kyrgyz side. They noted that this meeting serves as an important platform for implementing the tasks set by the heads of state.
They further highlighted that such interactions contribute to the development of the Organization of Turkic States and the deepening of integration processes. They emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is successfully chairing the organization and expressed confidence that the agreements reached will give new impetus to practical cooperation among the countries.
