On March 12, 2026, Alisher Shaikhov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, held a working meeting with a delegation from the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM). The delegation was led by Ozkan Altuntas, Manager for Global Business Development.

The Turkish Exporters Assembly was established in 1993. It brings together 27 sectors of the economy, 61 exporters’ associations, and more than 150,000 companies, forming one of the key pillars of Türkiye’s export strategy.

During the talks, the parties discussed further development of trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Türkiye, increasing the volume of mutual exports and imports, and strengthening direct connections between the business communities of the two countries.

In addition, the participants exchanged views on organizational matters related to the planned visit of the Turkish delegation to Uzbekistan scheduled for April 6–9, 2026. The visit will be organized with the support of the Turkish Exporters Assembly.
