A delegation from Hatay province of Türkiye was ceremoniously welcomed at Urgench International Airport as part of their visit to Uzbekistan. The guests took part in festive events dedicated to the celebration of Nowruz held at Urgench State Pedagogical Institute.

In the afternoon, they visited the international tourist complex “Arda Khiva” and explored the historical monuments of “Ichan Kala.” According to the organizers, this visit contributes to strengthening friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Türkiye, as well as expanding interregional cooperation.

Such meetings create new opportunities for promoting tourism potential and elevate bilateral relations to a new level.

It should be noted that in January of this year, during his official visit to Türkiye, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, invited local residents to visit Uzbekistan and participate in Nowruz celebrations at the opening ceremony of the “Uzbekistan” residential complex in the Arsuz district of Hatay.
