In Astana, Kazakhstan, as part of the working visit of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a signing ceremony was held for the Practical Action Plan aimed at implementing agreements between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in the fields of investment and trade. The document was signed in the presence of the leaders of both countries.

The document, referred to as a “Road Map,” is intended to implement the agreements reached during the presidents’ meetings held in the cities of Bukhara and Turkistan in April and May of this year.

The plan envisages the development of joint projects in a number of key sectors, including automobile manufacturing, energy, the chemical and metallurgical industries, pharmaceuticals, logistics, the production of construction materials, housing construction, agriculture, and other areas. The implementation of the document is expected to ensure the fulfillment of agreements reached within the framework of interstate dialogue aimed at expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation between the two countries.
