During the discussions, the parties exchanged views on current issues in tax policy and tax administration. Particular attention was paid to the digital transformation of tax services, the development of electronic services, the improvement of tax control mechanisms, the promotion of voluntary tax compliance, and efforts to combat the shadow economy. The participants confirmed their readiness to expand practical cooperation, exchange experience, and introduce international best practices in the field of tax administration.

It was noted that developing institutional cooperation among the tax administrations of OTS member states is in line with the organization’s strategic objectives of deepening economic integration, advancing digital partnership, and enhancing the competitiveness of national economies.

The event was organized within the framework of implementing the agreements reached following the OTS Budapest Summit held in Budapest in 2025 at the initiative of Hungary.
