A total of 6,565,410 foreign visitors traveled to Uzbekistan for tourism purposes during January–June 2026, according to the National Statistics Committee. Compared to the same period last year, the number of foreign tourists increased by 1.3 million, representing a 24.9% year-on-year growth.

Neighboring countries continued to account for the largest share of tourist arrivals. Kyrgyzstan ranked first with 1,875,332 visitors, followed by Kazakhstan with 1,553,688 tourists and Tajikistan with 1,471,670 arrivals. The top five source countries also included Russia, with 585,558 visitors, and Afghanistan, with 238,925 tourists.

Completing the top ten were China (223,479 visitors), Turkmenistan (164,211), Türkiye (95,466), India (26,450), and Germany (22,294). The continued growth in foreign tourist arrivals reflects the ongoing recovery and development of Uzbekistan's tourism sector, as well as the country's increasing appeal to travelers from neighboring countries and beyond.
