Fergana Region Governor Hayrullo Bozorov of Uzbekistan met with a delegation from Türkiye’s “Bademli” Cooperative, led by Chairman Hurşit Nallı. The meeting focused on developing cooperation in agriculture, utilizing existing potential, and implementing new joint projects.
Particular attention was paid to the development of the seedling and nursery sector. The parties discussed the cultivation of high-yield and export-oriented fruit varieties, the supply of quality planting materials, and the introduction of modern agricultural technologies. Fergana Region Governor Hayrullo Bozorov noted that the region has the necessary infrastructure, resources, and potential to implement such projects. Representatives of the “Bademli” Cooperative shared their extensive experience in seedling production and presented a number of proposals for cooperation.
The Turkish side proposed establishing modern laboratories, organizing training programs to develop qualified specialists, and developing the seedling sector on a scientific and systematic basis. Governor Bozorov stated that the region is ready to support initiatives that contribute to regional development and increase the efficiency of the agricultural sector. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue efforts to strengthen cooperation in agriculture, particularly in seedling production, and to implement joint projects in this area.
