Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are planning to jointly produce medical products. The production will be organized within the Bishkek Free Economic Zone. This was reported by the press service of the "Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan" Development Fund.

The project was discussed during a meeting between representatives of the "Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan" Development Fund, the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency of Uzbekistan, and the delegation of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan. The production activities will be organized by the Uzbek company "Sunride," while the primary consumers will be medical institutions in Kyrgyzstan, including hospitals and polyclinics.

The "Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan" Development Fund will provide advisory support in attracting investments and developing financing conditions for the project. Currently, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are implementing 14 joint projects in the healthcare sector.
