Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Azizov, held a meeting with representatives of the Turkish companies “Rekor Gıda A.Ş.”, “Ferr Pharma İlaç”, “Asutay Engineering”, and “KMHI Kurtul Machine”.

During the meeting, the head of the agency provided the Turkish guests with detailed information about the current state and development dynamics of Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical sector. Particular attention was given to priority areas of development, the investment climate, and systematic state support measures that create favorable conditions for foreign investors.

Participants were also informed about the ongoing projects within the framework of the “Tashkent Pharma Park” — an innovative scientific-industrial pharmaceutical cluster.

The representatives of the Turkish companies expressed their interest in entering the Uzbek market and asked a number of clarifying questions regarding the business environment, legal and regulatory framework, and specific mechanisms for cooperation.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to continue exchanging information, establish business relations, and explore opportunities for implementing promising investment and production projects together.
