In Ankara, a delegation led by Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister for Poverty Reduction and Employment, Alisher Muratov, held a meeting with Türkiye’s Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security, Faruk Özçelik, along with other Turkish officials.

The parties discussed the development of vocational training, drafting regulations in line with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), and establishing a Vocational Qualifications Assessment Center in Tashkent based on Türkiye’s experience.

In addition, a meeting was held with Aşkın Toren, Director of the Turkish Vocational Qualifications Authority. Key areas of discussion included introducing Turkish vocational standards in Uzbekistan, implementing a mutual recognition system for certificates, and jointly establishing the Uzbek–Turkish Vocational Qualifications Assessment Center.

As part of the visit, members of the Uzbek delegation also participated in practical exams for vocational qualifications assessment.
