On October 20, the Uzbekistan–Kazakhstan Business Forum began in Tashkent with the support of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan.

This forum serves as one of the largest platforms for developing bilateral cooperation, discussing future interaction prospects, and facilitating experience exchange between government bodies, industry associations, and business representatives of both countries. More than 100 representatives from ministries, agencies, and companies are participating, including leading enterprises from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, Khurram Teshabayev, addressed the participants, saying: “We are witnessing a steady increase in trade and investment volumes between our countries. Kazakhstan is one of Uzbekistan’s key economic partners. We aim not only to maintain these ties but also to expand joint projects in industry, agriculture, and logistics. This forum is further proof of our commitment to long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation.”
According to both sides, during January–September 2025, trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan reached USD 3.5 billion — a 16% increase compared to the same period last year. Uzbekistan’s exports amounted to USD 1.1 billion, up by 7%. Currently, 1,157 Kazakh enterprises operate in Uzbekistan — 876 fully Kazakh-owned and 281 joint ventures.
During the forum, the economic and investment potential of both countries is being presented, with discussions focusing on new areas of cooperation in industry, agriculture, logistics, construction, and services. Special attention is being paid to industrial cooperation, expansion of transport corridors, and trade digitalization.

Within the forum, G2B and B2B meetings are being held, where business representatives discuss specific projects and initiatives. The event will conclude with a signing ceremony of agreements in food production, infrastructure construction, and the agro-industrial complex.
The Uzbekistan–Kazakhstan Business Forum represents an important step in strengthening strategic partnership, fostering mutual investment growth, and deepening economic integration between the two nations.
