On December 2, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Akram Aliyev held a working meeting with the CEO of the Turkish telecommunications company Türk Telekom, Ebubekir Şahin. During the meeting, the parties noted that in recent years, cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkey has reached a new qualitative level, and that economic, investment, and technological ties have been steadily expanding.

Special attention was given to the implementation opportunities of joint investment projects, increasing the competitiveness of the telecommunications market, and introducing advanced technologies. At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue active interaction aimed at strengthening technological partnership between the two countries and implementing practical initiatives.
