Chairman of the state concern “Türkmenhimiýa” Resul Mıradov met with Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Ravshanbek Alimov, to discuss prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the chemical industry. The parties emphasized the importance of launching new investment projects by combining the resources and production capacities of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
According to the “Dünya” news agency, the talks included a detailed review of opportunities for industrial cooperation and the joint use of existing potential. The sides also reached an agreement to continue cooperation in the mutual supply of chemical products that are in high demand in both countries. At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to maintain a systematic dialogue and to focus on implementing agreements reached at the highest level.
In addition, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Annayev held a separate meeting with Ambassador Alimov. The discussion covered current issues of cooperation in transport, logistics, and communications.
The parties noted with satisfaction the steady growth of trade and economic relations between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan in recent years. Particular emphasis was placed on the modernization of transport infrastructure and the creation of favorable conditions for cargo transportation.
Participants in the meetings agreed that deepening cooperation in transport, transit, logistics, and communications will not only strengthen bilateral relations but also contribute to enhancing the efficiency and reliability of regional transport corridors.
