More than 100 executives of Turkish companies and representatives of the private sector participated in the “Turkmenistan–Türkiye” Business Forum held in the city of Denizli, where Turkmenistan’s investment opportunities were presented. This was reported on Thursday by Turkmenistan’s official media outlets.

The forum was organized on June 11 by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Türkiye at the Denizli Chamber of Commerce and Commodity Exchanges Union building. The event aimed to introduce the Turkish business community to investment opportunities in Turkmenistan’s economy.

During the forum, it was emphasized that Turkmenistan pursues a policy of developing international trade and economic cooperation based on the principles of mutual respect, equality, and trust. Participants were also informed about measures being implemented to support the private sector, attract foreign investment, and create a favorable business environment.

The parties discussed prospects for attracting Turkish investments to the oil and gas petrochemical industry, the agro-industrial sector, transportation and logistics, as well as telecommunications and information technologies. As part of the event, a video highlighting Turkmenistan’s investment potential was presented. Special attention was also given to the country’s commitment to introducing environmentally friendly and green technologies across various sectors of the economy.

In addition, Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Türkiye, Mekan Ishangulyyev, held meetings with Yavuz Selim Köşger, Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu, and Mahmut Güngör. The discussions focused on expanding cooperation in education, culture, humanities, trade, and investment, as well as strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
