Over the past 11 months, the volume of freight transportation along the China-Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran (CKTI) route increased by 31% compared to the same period last year, reports the Kazakhstani transport and logistics company KTZ Express.
Experts held a meeting in Beijing on December 19-20, 2024, focused on the development of the CKTI route. They reviewed the year's work and discussed plans for further development of the transport corridor.
Participants concentrated on key aspects of development: speeding up cargo delivery, optimizing customs procedures, and implementing modern digital technologies to simplify logistics processes.
The CKTI route continues to strengthen its position as one of the strategic corridors for international trade. Shorter delivery times compared to maritime routes, reliable infrastructure, and direct access to Asian and Middle Eastern markets provide it with a significant advantage.
The China-Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran (CKTI) route connects Central and South Asian countries with Middle Eastern markets.
