As part of his working visit to the Balkan region, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Mr. Ahmet Çalık, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Çalik Holding” Group of Companies.
President Berdimuhamedov focused on energy projects, noting that the combined-cycle power plant currently under construction on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea will enable the export of electricity to neighboring countries, including brotherly Türkiye, and subsequently to other states.
The Head of State also announced the start of construction of a complex in the Balkan region that will produce 1 million 155 thousand tons of urea annually. He emphasized that this project would make a significant contribution to the diversification and development of the national economy, and expressed confidence that “Çalik Holding” would continue to effectively implement state-level projects in Turkmenistan using modern technologies.
Mr. Ahmet Çalık, Chairman of the Board of “Çalik Holding,” sincerely thanked the President for the high level of trust shown to him and stressed that his company would continue to fulfill its contractual obligations with the utmost responsibility.
