The Akim (Mayor) of Almaty, Darkhan Satybaldy, and the CEO of Turkey’s Köksan Holding, Murat Kökoğlu, discussed the construction of a plant for plastic recycling and PET preform production (preparations made from polyethylene terephthalate for bottles and other containers). According to the press service of the Akimat, the enterprise will be located on 15 hectares in Alatau District of Almaty.
