The volume of Kazakh investments in Turkmenistan’s economy has exceeded 120 million dollars. This was announced by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during expanded-format talks with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov in Astana on Tuesday.

In the city of Shymkent, Kazakhstan, the country's largest greenhouse complex “Alsera kz,” designed to produce 155,000 tons of tomatoes annually, has been launched, reports EastFruit. The investor of the greenhouse is Turkey’s agro-industrial holding Alarko Holding. The opening ceremony was attended by Kazakhstan’s Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov, Turkey’s Consul General in Turkistan Levent Gürcan, the Chairman of the Board of Alarko Holding İzzet Garih, and representatives of the Shymkent city administration.
